For moderately priced and comfortable shoes, Aerosoles is my top pick. Don't let the comfort factor affect your judgment; the shoes are stylish and this is my favorite store in the area because the staff are SO friendly and they always seem to have larger sizes.
I found the salespeople very helpful and super patient even as I tried on about 10 pairs of shoes and asked for more sizes, etc. The customer service was also really great when I had to return a pair of sandals because they were too small. While the selection isn't full of sky-high heels or the most trendy styles, like the Aldos of the world, the quality at Aerosoles seems really good and even the high heeled wedges I purchased are comfortable.
