Left before we could even order. We walked in and sat down, not knowing we have to "wait to be seated" when the place was half empty. The waiter comes over and starts yelling at us because he is supposed to seat us. Mind you, we came with kids and they were tired so they sat down. The waiter so rudely looks at the kids with such a disgusting attitude for sitting down at the table that he was cleaning. The child is 5 years old, he knows no better. I've never met a more rude waiter in my life. There's a proper way to speak to strangers. This waiter does not know how to.
Great place for your pastrami fix! It’s a household name around UES. Definitely try their original with an order of garlic fries. Great service, reasonably priced, quality time! Seating is available, but I prefer to go during dead times because of the available dining space. They deliver, as well!
Great food, bad service. My wife was in the nearby hospital so I got the food to go incase I needed to rush back to her. When my did was ready she still didn't need me back so I decided to sit and eat for a few minutes because it was freezing cold outside and there wasn't a place to eat in the ER. As I started to eat a worker told me he was a waiter and counter service customers weren't allowed to sit and eat. I tried to explain my predicament but he didn't care and forced me to go back out into the cold.
Great NYC Pastrami! However only four (4) tables, best to take out, still great.
Delicious! Had half a pastrami sandwich and the matzoh ball soup. Service was quick and we got there early, service was fast. Place is tiny, but definitely going back whenever I get the chance.
