I love this place. I eat here a lot, it's my go to restaurant. Great comfort food (beans and rice, white rice, legume (which is mixed vegetables - you can have it with or without meat), green plantains, oxtails, chicken with sauce, and they have a shrimp dish with a delicious red sauce!!! Oh, they have these wonderful patties- you can have chicken, fish, or beef patties!!! On the weekends they have black rice!!!!! Yes!! Don't forget the homemade hot sauce made with carrots and cabbage and the rum cake is so good! The people here are wonderful and they make me feel like I'm at home!!!! A nice addition to the neighborhood!! The portions are great! You won't be hungry after you eat!!
Food is nice and service is good. Just that I did not expect to have fish fillets as I thought it was a fish. Well, that's probably a mistake I've made. Not my fav African restaurant as the portion is rather small for an African restaurant.
