Really tasty authentic cusine. Especially when it's cold outside, it's nice to eat something warm. I love the noodles in broth. Also, try one of their home made teas.

This place is awesome for lunch. We were visiting the city for the day and went to Yelp for suggestions. We shared pork noodles and a BBQ pork burger for $16. Everything tastes great and we left perfectly satisfied.
Summary:
I got to try the Spicy Cumin Lamb Noodles which I believe was numbered 'Ns1'. It was delicious! The noodles are soft and perfectly cooked, soaking in that spicy broth flavor. The lamb was a great consistency and texture. There were plenty of spices and garnishes such as green onions, cilantro, and peppers. I would say it was the perfect meal for cold winter nights in New York.
In search of a good, authentic Asian restaurant, this place is it. I ordered the N1 Spicy Cumin Lamb Hand-Ripped Noodles and I was in my happy place. The noodles were fresh and al dente, the soup was spicy and flavorful, and the meat was tender. Xi'an Famous Foods is the epitome of comfort food, and if you're in search of that, this is the place you need to go.
Side note. They have 4 spicy levels available. I hate asking for spicy and getting bland food. Not the case here.
Would definitely come back and enjoy the flavorful foods though!
The only downside for me is that this restaurant is extremely small. The seating arrangement is literally stools facing the wall. It's probably more of a dine and go type of deal where they don't want you staying for long. There is also no bathroom here as well...so for these reasons, I couldn't give this place a full 5 stars.
