If your car is totaled, you can't access your account online so if you have an outstanding balance they force you to mail in checks or charge a fee to pay over the phone.
I have a co signer mind you my co signer has no job or credit and they still allow him to co sign now I filed bankruptcy my car is exempt my lawyer said but yet the removed my name from the loan and now that my bankruptcy chapter 7 ended they won't put me back on like I was told they would.

this is the WORST bank we have ever dealt with! we have our savings through Ally which has been fine but don't EVER get a car loan using them!! Absolutely horrible experience. Sent us jumping through hoops because one person knows less than the next!! Have been to motor vehicle THREE times!! All because the employees at Ally and Clearlane DO NOT know how to do their jobs! Ridiculous and EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. We will NEVER use them again and unfortunately due to this experience we will be taking our savings account elsewhere.
Horrible customer service--not from their reps per se, but rather from their management. Ally LOVES charging fees for everything, left and right, and, unlike all other banks I've worked with, will NEVER waive them, even if you incurred said fees in error. Completely inflexible and not customer-friendly. I had checking accounts with them, and I ended up closing all of them after my latest utterly frustrating experience.
